Easter is one of the most important and beautiful holidays of the year. Beyond the religious significance of this holiday, many of us look forward to Easter to reunite with family and enjoy the festive meal with our loved ones. And even though this year will be an atypical holiday for many of us due to the fact that we will not be able to visit our family, we can still enjoy this holiday and bring its spirit to our homes by setting the table.
Beyond elegance, the Easter table should be cheerful. Besides the red eggs, the Easter cake and other specific dishes, you don’t need expensive ornaments and decorative objects, but just a few simple elements that will bring a festive air to the table. We present you some ideas for setting up the Easter table and the essential items you need.

Rustic Table Setting
For a rustic decor, you need to keep a few things in mind: nature, wood, natural colors, and simple cutlery. So, choose plain white plates without other applications or colors, silver cutlery, and jute placemats. Choose to decorate the table with tall, white, marble-topped candles, natural white flowers, green plants, and wooden decorations.
Minimalist Decor
For a minimalist setting, you need a wooden table or a white linen tablecloth, white or beige plates, simple glasses, black cutlery and green plants. To enhance the decor, add a linen napkin, a budding or flowering twig and a red egg to each plate.
Spring on your table
For a colorful decoration, choose seasonal flowers as colorful as possible – purple, yellow, pink. These will bring a spring air to the table. Choose a simple tablecloth so that the plates stand out. Opt for colored plates or for floral pattern plates, glasses and gold cutlery. Candles should not be missing from the table – choose colored or white candles, silver candlesticks and porcelain decorations in the shape of a bunny. Napkins with gold or silver rings will give an elegant air to the table.
Red eggs, pork, Easter cake, and all the other traditional dishes fill our home with inviting aromas, and each of us eagerly anticipates the moment when we can sit down at the table. And with only a few days left until the Feast of the Resurrection of the Lord, we hope that the ideas we’ve shared will inspire you.
