When we say home, we also mean accessories. We mean a dining room decorated from the heart to host unforgettable family meals. For this reason, last week we went to the threshold of Adrian Hădean’s cooking workshop to get inspired and discover Kuiba ceramic products.

From the moment we stepped in, we found ourselves, for a few moments, in grandma’s house. Then we caught sight of the dishes full of meals, just ready to be put in the oven. Naturally, we discovered, in addition to absolutely delicious dishes, a design that conveys the warmest atmosphere. Exactly how any place that gathers friends and family should be, it creates special moments. Ceramic tiles and vintage furniture, a table made from an old wooden door with iron inserts, the exposed brick from the original construction of the building, all of the aforementioned elements reflect a place where successful events are created. And if I haven’t convinced you yet, well, a walk to the terrace will take you to a special world. The world, seen from above with its lights and unique hustle and bustle, looks most beautiful next to a glass of wine.

Our visit the other day confirmed to us, once again, how important it is to give a room its soul. To be able to create a place that represents you and where all your events are prepared in detail. All the dishes prepared by Adi Hădean, once placed in such beautiful Kuiba ceramic dishes, created a scene enhanced by the exclamation: de-li-ciooos! Perhaps, more than ever, until today, we have truly entered the Christmas atmosphere. Because, as we already know, Christmas is about delicious dishes, cooked with love, it is about friends and family.

The holidays are about the joy of sharing. They are more about the spiritual aspects, rather than the material aspects. Choose as few decorations as possible but keep in mind that they should match each other and think only of certain places in the house where they fit perfectly. Already featured in the October issue of  ‘Casa și grădina’ magazine, this beautiful apartment has a story we were eager to share with you. The owners have become our friends and that is why the final result is exactly as we imagined.

When we met, they told us they wanted color and lots of storage space, we insisted on quality and details that were close to perfection. The apartment had already been renovated, so we decided to keep the interior doors but change the interior design. The tiles in the kitchen and the dark parquet in the rest of the rooms were replaced with new, light gray parquet.

We chose the basic colors together: gray, ocher and turquoise. From here the entire arrangement started and the owners completely respected the project we elaborated. We wandered together through showrooms and stores to find the perfect “gray”, and the right shade of furniture. Each of them must blend in perfect harmony, ensuring that the colors do not differ from one another in any way. For the furniture, we worked together with the team from Kubik Design, those who made sure that in the end each piece of furniture respected the colors decided together with the owners and combined glossy white MDF with turquoise, ocher and purple accents, in the bedroom’s case.

For the living room, we chose a geometric rug from Ikea. The curtains were custom-made to match our simulation, and the empty spaces in the library are still waiting to be filled with drawings by Carla, the family’s 5-year-old. The chair belongs to Pufi, the newest member of the family, a 6-month-old cat.

          Pufi was the star of the photo shoot, having only been in his owners’ lives for a week.

The kitchen is also designed to hide all the less aesthetic elements. The apartment’s heating system is hidden in a piece of furniture and the radiator is hidden by the cast Corian countertop in which the ventilation holes were cut. The sink is cast, large, and deep enough, exactly as the owners desired. The wall was covered with white glass and our favorite piece is the kitchen table. This is because it can be used both against the wall and as a coffee table, thanks to an intelligent rotation system designed by Kubik Design.

It may already sound cliché that we like apartments that feel like home, but that’s the feeling we got when we met up with the owners after the project was completed. Right from the entrance, everything is super cozy, colorful and bright, far from the drab feeling of the gray and monotonous apartment buildings.
