We continue the series of “our work” articles. This time, we are going to talk about with the furnishing of a 3-bedroom apartment for a couple, the concept of the furnishing revolving around the cheerfulness and joy that the owners instilled in us.
Although the deadline seemed impossible (2 months for the complete renovation, including changing the installations, finishing and ordering the furniture) we gathered all our inspiration and desire to make 2 more owners happy. The owners wanted a welcoming, warm and cheerful apartment, but at the same time an optimized space.
Living room
For the living room we chose a dressing room with a mirror that is spread across the entire width of the room, a TV chest of drawers with enough space for storage, and a sofa made of a special material. Chromatically, we relied on gray, blue and white, and as for the wall behind the TV we opted for a white brick texture.
Master Bedroom
For the master bedroom, we opted for a large bed with a padded headboard and storage space underneath. The wall behind the bed is clad in white brick, and the color scheme chosen for this room is a combination of white and gray, with accents of yellow and turquoise. The TV stand, with many drawers for storage, is also chosen precisely to optimize the space.
Second Bedroom
The secondary bedroom was designed as a space for relaxation and socializing. We opted for the same gray, white, and yellow color scheme, with a few turquoise accents. The wall units have hidden storage space, so you don’t even realize that those units are cabinets. Here too, we chose white brick texture for one of the walls, and for an industrial look we selected yellow sheet metal wall lamps.
The Kitchen
Although at first glance it is a small, simple kitchen with no hanging units, it has met the storage requirements. For a minimalist design, we have incorporated the dishwasher, refrigerator and oven into the furniture. The wall behind the furniture is a white brick-like tile, and the wall opposite the furniture (the one behind the table) is painted with black chalkboard paint so that the owners can write down their favorite recipes or daily schedule. Here too, we opted for the color combination used throughout the apartment – white, gray and yellow, with black accents this time.
The Bathroom
The bathroom was designed as a minimalist and simple space, an oasis of relaxation after a long day at work. We chose neutral colors (white and gray) with natural wood accents. All the attention goes to the oriental patterned tiles that create that spa-like atmosphere at home.
The second bathroom is the one that serves the master bedroom. We chose an elegant design and used cement gray and blue ceramic tiles in the arrangement. The white and gray chromatics enhance the modern design of the room. This time the emphasis was placed on the shower area – the area highlighted by the ceramic cladding.
