How to Decorate Your Home for Halloween

Although it might not be a local holiday, Halloween makes its presence felt from the first days of October. – in stores, in malls – so you inevitably think about how you can use your imagination to create a Halloween decoration. Beyond the symbolism of the holiday, Halloween is associated with the arrival of autumn, and for those who are not reluctant to celebrate the holidays, this period is the perfect opportunity to spend time with loved ones. So, we have prepared some ideas to inspire you to create a Halloween decor right at home.

It is always good to keep it simple when you start decorating. Experimenting and trying with a monochromatic decor is ideal! If the leaves on the trees are changing colors, consider complementing your decor with elements like white flowers and white pumpkins for Halloween.

Another option is to use pumpkins instead of vases for a chic floral arrangement. So, decorate your living room, dining table, kitchen or even your entryway with floral arrangements placed in white pumpkins. This way of using pumpkins allows you to choose different types of flowers and colors, creating a unique floral arrangement.

If it is difficult to find white pumpkins, you can opt for small, orange pumpkins. Arrange them in a clear vase and add flowers in the same shade as the pumpkins. This way, you’ll have a unique floral arrangement, both at the top and at the bottom.

Candles are a must-have in Halloween decor. For tall candles, opt for vintage bottles, wine bottles, or even pumpkins instead of classic candle holders. For pill candles, use small pumpkins in various colors as holders.

Enhance your home decor with some specific elements, such as witch hats or bats. You can use string to hang bats and witch hats on the windows, while the ceiling, furniture, door, or sofa can be adorned with spider webs.

If you want a simple Halloween arrangement, without too much investment, but to create a festive atmosphere, opt only for pumpkins, which you can place all over the house.

Tell us in the comments which idea you liked the most. For more inspiration, we are waiting for your messages on our Facebook and Instagram pages, or on our blog section of our site.

Autumn Decor – Textures for a Fall-Inspired Setting

Even though the beginning of autumn makes us feel somewhat melancholic, that doesn’t mean we can’t enjoy this season. The textures we choose to integrate into our home help us a lot to make the transition from the warm period to the cool period easier. Autumn is a season that brings peace, warm colors and changes our mood, making us seek the comfort of home and find activities in accordance with the weather.

The transition from warm to cold seasons makes us retreat indoors and spend more time in our homes. That’s why it is very important that the house’s decor is as warm and welcoming as possible.

When we design our home, we take into account several aspects, such as the color scheme, the design style, the chosen furniture, all of which revolve around one goal: to meet our needs. One of the key elements not to be overlooked when designing our home is textures.

Textures, whether in textiles or furniture, come in a wide variety and help us add personality to the space. And autumn inspires us to choose natural materials that help us create a warm and welcoming atmosphere.

Natural materials for autumn decoration

Autumn inspires a feeling of tranquility and comfort. Therefore, natural materials are the right choice if you want to create such an atmosphere at home. Wood is the material that best conveys this state and complements the outdoor scene very well. Moreover, wooden furniture integrates very well into several interior design styles and can be combined with different colors or textures. And brick or natural stone is an ideal choice to create an autumnal scene right at home. Brick and natural stone can be integrated especially into wall decoration and combine very well with various textures and interior design styles.

Natural textiles and fabrics for autumn decor

It’s very easy to make a change in your home with the help of textiles and textures. Choose to integrate a dense textured blanket, made of a natural material, such as wool or cotton, into your living room and enjoy a warm and peaceful atmosphere. In addition to the aesthetic side, a blanket will help you relax on the couch on a cooler autumn evening.

Another very easy way to transform your home and add autumnal accents are decorative pillows – fluffy pillows, made of natural materials, with a print or in simple colors, they will complement the image of the entire decor.

Curtains and drapes should also not be overlooked – they complement the decor and enhance the space. For the autumn season, we recommend choosing thick curtains, made of dense textures and natural materials.

Choose prints inspired by nature and the colors of autumn – leaves, flowers, yellow, orange or burgundy are just a few options to outline a home close to nature and integrate the autumn atmosphere into your own house. Autumn is a season full of inspiration and color! Let yourself be inspired and choose autumn elements for your home interior and transform your space into a comfortable and welcoming environment.

You can find us here if you need help decorating your home. Here you will find another article dedicated to the autumn season – this time we inspire you to choose the most suitable colors for decorating your home this season.

Interiors Designed with Color Accents – Ideas from Our Projects

The correct use of colors is a first step in designing a harmonious space that reflects your personality. Without colors, a home’s interior would lack uniqueness. Accent shades can be used to emphasize and highlight certain spaces or, conversely, to keep them more subdued. Today we present you some interior designs from our projects, developed with color accents that we hope would inspire you to choose the most suitable colors to bring the contrast you want for your place.

Interior Design Project for a 4-Bedroom Apartment in Dubai

Red Accents

An interior design rule suggests that a decor should include 5% red. However, since this color doesn’t suit every room, it’s more of a recommendation. Instead, focus on contrast—red brings a striking contrast to any color combination. That’s why, for this open space living room in Dubai, we chose neutral shades mixed with red accents. Also, we chose a custom corner model, with a chaise longue and red decorative pillows because a completely red sofa might be a bit too much for an open space. In order to properly organize the space, we opted for a minimalist furniture, in simple and straight lines.

Yellow or Orange Accents

If you’ve chosen dark or gray shades for the furniture and other design elements for a more classic interior, focus on color accents that will bring dynamism to the space—opt for shades from the yellow or orange range.

For this living room in Dubai, we chose to integrate a yellow armchair to harmoniously complement the neutral ambiance created by shades of gray and cream.

Living Room Designed with Yellow Accents – Interior Design Project for a House in Dubai

The dining area in this Dubai apartment is balanced by the two orange chairs that perfectly complement the gray used in the rest of the space, amplifying the warm, welcoming atmosphere and the feeling of comfort.

Dining Area Designed with Orange Accents – Interior Design Project for an Apartment in Dubai

Blue or Purple Accents

For smaller interiors, we recommend using light shades for both furniture and walls to visually enlarge the space and provide more brightness to the room. However, using light shades can risk making the result monotonous. In this case, the ideal solution is to choose accent colors from the range of dark shades, such as purple or blue, to balance the entire decor.

For this living room decorated in predominantly light shades, we chose to add blue as an accent shade, which can be found in the stool and the decorative pillows on the sofa.

For this teenage girl’s bedroom, we selected purple as the accent color, incorporating it across the entire wall in the study and bed area with a decorative wallpaper.

Pastel Shades

If you want a more colorful environment, but still don’t want to draw too much attention to a single piece of furniture, the right solution is to decorate in pastel shades. Choose to combine pale green with dusty pink and you will achieve a delicate and balanced interior.

This open space in Dubai, consisting of a dining and living area, was decorated in pastel shades of pale green and dusty pink. The entire atmosphere is airy and orderly. The two accent colors perfectly complement the entire color palette.

Two Accent Colors

For interiors decorated predominantly in white, you can opt for two accent colors, as we chose for this kitchen of a house in Dubai. Solar yellow and turquoise perfectly complement the entire space, giving personality to the room.

Colors can influence our mood, so it’s very important to surround yourself with colors that evoke positive energy. Choose your favorite colors, combine them with simple and neutral shades, take into account the purpose of the room and the chosen design style, and transform your home into a place where your personality can speak for itself.

We hope these ideas help you choose the most suitable colors to bring the contrast you want to your space. Designing a Schoolchild’s Room

A schoolchild’s room must be arranged in a manner that reflects the ideal environment for study hours (if they are learning from home) and for homework. Focus on the elements that matter to a student and remove objects that may cause distractions. We know that arranging a child’s room, especially a schoolchild’s, can be a real challenge. Thus, we have prepared some practical tips to help you design a schoolchild’s room as functionally as possible, while also maintaining the right atmosphere for a child’s bedroom.

Schoolchild’s Room Design – Interior Design Project for a 4-Room Apartment in Dubai

We have also highlighted in other articles how important it is for a child’s bedroom to be divided into certain areas dedicated to daily activities: the study area, the relaxation area, the rest/sleeping area and the multifunctional furniture pieces will help you optimize the space effectively.

So, the first and most important thing in decorating a schoolboy’s room is to clearly delimit the work space from the areas intended for other activities – relaxation, sleep. This will help the student complete their homework in ideal conditions, eliminating any source of distraction. In addition, they will not associate the place of rest/relaxation with school.

For the rest area, consider both comfort and functionality. The bed is the main piece of furniture in the sleeping area, so it needs to be durable – choose a bed with a metal or solid wood frame and a comfortable and durable mattress. You can opt for bunk beds if the bedroom is shared by 2-3 children. Beds with storage spaces or an oversized bed with a built-in desk to save space would be a great solution.

For the relaxing zone you can opt for a few floor cushions and a small table where the child can can take a break and detach for a few moments.

The study area is perhaps the most important part of a schoolchild’s room, and the desk is the essential piece of the entire decor. Thus, you need to pay a lot of attention when it comes to its selection. The desk should match the style of the room, but at the same time be spacious enough. We recommend choosing a desk with drawers or storage spaces so that the student can organize his writing instruments, notebooks, books and other useful elements for school. The desk is complemented by a chair, which should be comfortable and ensure correct posture when sitting at the desk. Above the desk, you can implement sturdy wall-mounted shelves, providing the perfect space for study-related items.

Study Space – Schoolchild’s Room – Interior Design Project for a House in Dubai

Spacious Desk and Comfortable Chair – Schoolchild’s Room – Interior Design Project for a 4-Bedroom Apartment in Dubai

Organizing the desk and study space is essential, especially since we all know that clutter is the most counterproductive thing. Organize all the books, notebooks, folders and other school items in pieces of furniture for storage, such as shelves, chests of drawers, drawers or even mini-libraries if space allows. To save space, expand the storage furniture vertically, not horizontally. We recommend keeping the desk as clear and airy as possible, with any remaining items neatly organized in trays, holders, or boxes.

Office and Study Space Organization – Home Design Project Dubai

Regarding the light, ideally, the student’s bedroom should be flooded with natural light, which helps regulate energy levels and sleep schedules. We recommend placing the desk in an area with enough natural light, perhaps even in front of a window. Avoid placing the computer/laptop facing the window because the light will hit the screen directly and greatly reduce visibility. Also choose an artificial light source, an ambient one – a table lamp/lamp placed on the desk will not only enhance the desk, but the student will also have light for the evenings when he has more homework.

Natural Light in a Student’s Room – Home Design Project Dubai

Even though school will take up most of your child’s time, we must not forget that their bedroom should be a cheerful, colorful space, a room that inspires joy. The colors you should choose for a schoolboy’s room are light yellow, blue, light green, or a light shade of purple.

Color Scheme for a Student’s Room – Four-Room Apartment Design Project Dubai

A schoolchild’s room will change over the years. Be as flexible as possible, use your creativity and take into account a schoolchild’s real needs. Thus, their bedroom can become the perfect place to carry out their schoolwork.

During our projects we have designed many rooms for schoolchildren. If you need help as well, we are waiting for you to write to us here. In the meantime, for more inspiration, you can access our blog section.

Living Room Design – 7 Ideas from Our Projects

The living room is the place where you spend the most time when you are at home, so it is very important that its design matches your taste, since this environment should reflect, in the end, your personality and lifestyle. However, to achieve the desired result, you need to take into account several aspects, such as the size of the space you can use, the shape of the room or the design style. And because designing the living room can be a real challenge, especially since, most of the time, it is a multifunctional room (relaxation area, place where you receive guests, place for dining or even home office), we have prepared some design ideas from our projects that we hope will inspire you!

Living Room Designed with Wooden Textures

This open space living room in Dubai is separated from the kitchen and hallway area by wooden ribbing. The decor was designed to complement the hallway and kitchen, so we opted for the combination of gray with wooden textures. The living room has a generous sofa and a wooden bookcase, while the rest of the furniture pieces come to enhance the warm and welcoming environment. The white curtains and the rocking chair perfectly complement the living room and give the environment the feeling of an airy space. Both the fireplace and the wooden logs placed under the bookcase add more texture to the room and amplify the idea of decorating with wooden accents. Neutral tones, gray, wooden textures, clean and simple lines predominate in the living room. A few accents are immediately noticed – decorative pillows and green plants.

Open-Plan Living Room Connected to the Entrance Hall

In this house, the entrance merges with the living area, where the living room, dining area, and kitchen seamlessly connect in an open layout. In order for the space to be orderly but visually surprising, we chose unitary finishes: light-colored parquet and white walls, while for the furniture we opted for gray and beige tones, combined with black (the kitchen). The entire living room is arranged in a unitary manner, in beige and gray tones, which are found both in the overall decorations and the furniture. The entire space is utilized to its fullest potential – we integrated a generous sofa and a six-person dining table. The TV was placed on the wall facing the window, so it could be watched from all areas of the living space. For a dynamic effect, the wall behind the TV was finished with a decorative wallpaper in gray tones. The yellow armchair, the coffee table, the chest of drawers in the TV area, as well as the chest of drawers in the dining area harmoniously complement the entire space.

Minimalist Living Room with Plenty of Storage Space

This living room, enhanced with a dining area, in a 3-bedroom apartment, features plenty of storage space, both at the TV stand level and at the high furniture level with floor-to-ceiling doors. The ensemble is not massive at all, but simply treated, with white, handle-free furniture, which becomes the perfect backdrop for the entire space. The overall image of the living room is airy and tidy. Also, the natural-looking elements, such as the chairs’ legs in the dining area, the table in the dining area, the wooden ribbing in the TV stand zone, inspire warmth, while outlining a welcoming and minimalist space. The living room is complemented by a pale pink sofa that provides dynamism to the room and improves the entire color palette.

Open Space Living Room with Red Accents

For this living room in a 4-bedroom apartment, we opted for a neutral color scheme, mixed shades with red accents. Because a completely red sofa can be too much for an open space, we chose a custom corner sofa model, with a chaise longue and red decorative pillows. In order to organize the space, we opted for minimalist furniture, in simple and straight lines. The bookcase behind the sofa was placed so as to close the corner of the room and smoothly make the transition to the hallway and kitchen.

Modern Living Room with Elegant Accents

The living room and dining area are arranged as a single unit, in beige and white tones, with blue accents found in the decorative pillows on the sofa and a stool. The TV area is also the most interesting part of the living room, hosting a bottle display zone, highlighted by a different wall finish, but also by a fireplace. Although the space is very generous, we chose to improve the wall behind the sofa with a mirror that gives the feeling of even larger space.

Living Room with Color Accents – Airbnb Apartment Design

This Airbnb apartment has a spacious living room, which we decorated in a cozy manner, with ambient lighting, and as a personalization touch we opted for a specific accent shade, namely dark green. Also in the living room we organized a relaxation space, as well as a dining area. The combination of the wooden ribbing wall, the white brick veneer, the chairs and the table in the dining zone gives an industrial air to the living room.

Open Space Living Room in Neutral Tones

When you step into the living area, your gaze is immediately drawn to the sofa and dining area. All the furniture in the living room and dining zone is placed in a manner that allows the window area to remain free, so that natural light can flood as well as possible, providing the feeling of more spaciousness. All surfaces are adorned with fabrics in neutral tones, with small color accents (such as the chairs in the dining area), while the generous curtains enhance the warm, welcoming atmosphere and the feeling of comfort. The radiator, concealed by the ribbing, and the column that separates the living room from the kitchen, also accented with ribbing, harmonize the space. The TV area was decorated with custom-made furniture. Thus, a connection with the kitchen was created through similar finishes.

Tips & Tricks: Brick in Interior Design

Brick used in interior design will help you change the ambiance of your home. The warm shades of brick will create a welcoming and harmonious decor, regardless of the design style you choose.

Four-Room Apartment Design Dubai

Whether it’s a single wall or an entire room, brick will completely transform your decor, bringing a unique touch to your home. In older buildings, exposed brick is already present on the walls, and you can easily make the walls stand out. For homes that don’t have exposed brick, you can opt for decorative brick tiles – they’re easy to apply and will give you the aspect you desire.

If you choose to use brick as a finish in your home design, keep in mind a few aspects to enjoy the ambiance you want and not clutter the space: natural light, the size of the space you have and the purpose of the room. Thus, if the size of the room is generous enough, you can opt for cladding all the walls with brick tiles, especially if you also have large windows and lots of natural light. Choose a reddish shade, and for the floor, choose a lighter parquet in order to keep the space feeling open. On the other hand, if the size of the room is smaller, you can choose to use brick on an accent wall – ideal for both the living room and the bedroom or kitchen.

The brick will stand out regardless of the design style you choose.

If industrial style is to your liking, choose a brick in a dark shade and combine it with metal, stainless steel or wrought iron elements – metal table and chairs, metal-framed bed, coffee table with wrought iron legs. As for the decorative elements, choose tall green plants, paintings and metal lighting fixtures.

Brick also works wonderfully in modern styles when it is paired with elegant elements, such as a glass or marble-top table, scented candles, and flower vases.

Rustic style is easily achieved using brick – choose white brick, add wooden elements (a bookcase, table and chairs) and decorative elements such as a tall lamp or table lamps and rattan baskets.

Brick and Decorations

If you choose to use a brick in a reddish color, try to reduce the additional elements to a few decorative items, such as black and white photo paintings in simple frames and green plants. For a white brick decor, you have more freedom and can play more with the decorations – for example, choose colorful paintings and wooden decorations.

The mirror is also an ideal element that you can easily implement into a room decorated with bricks. Choose a tall mirror with a special frame in order to create a sophisticated and unique environment.

Design Ideas for Teen Bedrooms

All parents of teenagers eventually face the daunting task of designing their child’s bedroom. A teenager’s ever-changing desires may not always align with your opinions or budget. However, you should keep in mind that a teenager’s bedroom is not just a place to sleep, it’s a haven, a place to study, read, listen to music, or entertain friends.

Teen Bedroom – Four-Room Apartment Design Project Dubai

You don’t have to be scared by these aspects – with a cool discussion before you start decorating, everything can take on a different meaning. Everyone can come up with suggestions and the final plan will definitely be suitable for both the teenager and the parents. We have prepared some decorating ideas for a teenager’s room from our projects to inspire you.

Divide the room into different zones

Regardless of the bedroom’s size, it is essential to divide the room into several areas dedicated to daily activities: study area, relaxation area, rest/sleeping area. Smart storage solutions and multifunctional furniture pieces will help you divide the space into zones dedicated to each aforementioned activity.

Study zone – opt for a desk with enough drawers and storage spaces so that all textbooks, books and other office accessories are well organized; choose a chair that provides optimal comfort and helps maintain a proper posture at the desk. Above the desk, you can choose to mount shelves and bookcases that can be the ideal support for books, games, figurine collections or souvenirs.

Relaxing zone – for teenagers, relaxation usually means playing games on the console, on the computer, reading or listening to music. You can choose floor cushions or poufs that are extremely comfortable for a few hours of games or reading.. Even a bench next to the bed would be a great option. For girls, you can choose a make-up table.

Resting zone – the bed is where they sleep, but a teenager will often do homework there, sit on it with their outerwear, wear headphones, or call their friends. Therefore, in addition to the bedding, the bed needs a cover that is a natural continuation of the entire environment and, of course, decorative pillows. Whether you choose an upholstered bed or one with a wooden or metal frame, add a spacious bedside table with drawers next to it, and add a lamp for improvement.

A teenager’s room should be full of energy

Don’t try to go for neutral colors for a teen’s bedroom – this space should be brightly colored, but not necessarily all of it. You can opt for accent colors – a wall painted in a strong shade or a piece of furniture in a vibrant tone so that when you enter the room, it immediately catches your eye.

Bedroom Designed with Decorative Wallpaper and Accent Color for a Teenager – Apartment Design Project Dubai

If in the past a teenager’s room was littered with posters attached all over the walls, now there is a much more practical solution – decorative wallpaper. It is quick to apply, easy to maintain and comes in a variety of patterns and colors.

Even a small bedroom can feel spacious

Even if the space available for a teenager’s room is not very generous, there are several tricks to make a room seem larger: choose large mirrors that you can place right on the cabinet doors – they will reflect the light and visually enlarge the space. A dressing table with a mirror, for example, can become the central element in a teenager’s room. Pastel shades for the walls are a better choice comparing to white. Another trick to visually enlarge the space would be to mount the curtain rail on the ceiling to make the room seem higher.

A teenager’s room should be a harmonious and functional space that reflects their personality and serves as a refuge for when they need it.

Our work – 4-Bedroom Apartment Design with Red Accents

Lately, we have been seeing a lot of open space homes, seamlessly connecting the living room and kitchen, as well as the hallway and living area. When spaces merge, the manner the home is divided matters a lot. The design must combine both the functional and the aesthetic aspects. Today, we want to showcase a 4-bedroom apartment in Dubai where the living room seamlessly connects to the kitchen, dining area, and hallway. Thus, the living room is the main part of the entire home and from here the other functions merge. The owners, a family with a 16-year-old child, wanted a modern design, with color accents, a decor that reflects their cheerful personality. Let’s see what tricks we had applied and the result that we obtained.

The entrance hall to the house is equipped with custom-made white furniture, a dressing room with elegant accents placed on the entire wall. From here we started to integrate red as an accent shade, a color that we used in most of the rooms. In the hallway we opted for a red armchair, with velvet upholstery, thus giving the setting a sophisticated and precious design. Behind the armchair we placed a hidden wall of large mirrors that separate the hallway from the living space (living room, dining area and kitchen).

In order to keep the coherence throughout the entire decor, we especially paid attention to the color scheme in living room – we opted for neutral shades mixed with red accents. Due to the reason that a completely red sofa can be too much for an open space, we chose a custom corner model, with a chaise longue and red decorative pillows. To organize the space, we opted for minimalist furniture, in simple and straight lines – it is a detail that enhance the way we perceive the space. The bookcase behind the sofa was strategically placed to define the room’s corner and create a smooth transition to the hallway.

The dining area is marked by the suspended light fixture and burgundy curtains that connect with the rest of the living space, but without letting the accent color dominate the space. Besides that, the dining area is minimalist, with gray chairs and a glass-topped table, for an orderly environment.

The kitchen was designed compactly, with white, minimalist, handleless furniture, enhanced by two burgundy-red stripes. The furniture was mounted on two rows of cabinets – lower and upper. Between the two rows of cabinets we chose to tile the wall with a red glass panel as a backsplash, to give a unified touch to the entire decor. In order not to clutter the space, we chose to incorporate all the household appliances.

The master bedroom is decorated in neutral tones of gray and white, with accents of pink and burgundy. We opted for an upholstered bed for added comfort and elegance. In the window area we arranged a reading zone with a minimalist armchair in gray tones. The bedroom is equipped with a custom-made, floor-to-ceiling wardrobe, designed to create the impression of a wall paneling and to avoid overcrowding the space.

The child’s bedroom, a 16-year-old boy, was designed as both a resting space and an area for studying and recreation. We chose a generous desk and a comfortable chair, an upholstered bed and a floor-to-ceiling wardrobe. We chose a decor in blue and white tones, with the wall behind the bed featuring a decorative photo wallpaper of a world map in blue tones, harmonizing with the wall by the window.

Relaxation room can be considered a guest room or an office as well. We chose a green-red-white color scheme here. The key element in the room is the green wall, next to which we positioned the red armchair with velvet upholstery.

The end result is a harmonious environment, arranged coherently and unitarily. Everything is well organized, simple and functional, adapted to the needs and preferences of the owners.

How to Use Natural Materials in Interior Design

The house is the place where we spend most of our time, it is the place where we rest, eat, relax, invite our friends or even work. That is why it is very important that the decisions regarding your home are as practical as possible and provide solutions for a long period of time.

To ensure that the furniture and decor in your home are durable and as practical as possible, you must consider the materials you choose to decorate your house. The ones we recommend are natural materials – wood, stone, metal. We will talk about each one in the following lines.

Whether we are talking about wood, natural stone or metal, natural materials will always give your home a sophisticated air but also the feeling of a well-organized space. Moreover, natural materials integrate perfectly into the design style you choose: if you want an industrial interior, opt for metal elements, such as a bookcase, dining chairs or coffee table. If the rustic style is what you prefer, then wooden furniture is the ideal choice. You can choose walnut or oak wood, and the furniture will not only last over time but will also remain timeless in style.

Wood is probably the most used material in interior and exterior design projects: from the construction of the house or interior stairs to the furniture pieces, wood adds a noble and charming air to the environment. Wood can be incorporated into nearly any design style. It’s highly versatile, sustainable, offering a wide range of textures and colors to choose from.

Stone is the ideal choice if you want to create a modern or minimalist interior, especially if you opt for dark shades. There is a wide range of types of natural stone on the market that you can use especially for flooring, walls or kitchen countertops, coffee tables (marble, granite, basalt, ceramic) – the ideal solution if you want an interior whose appearance will withstand the passage of time.

Metal is a very versatile natural material in interior design and can be easily integrated into many project styles, from industrial and modern to traditional and minimalist. Metal is an extremely durable material, being a great support for heavy elements, which makes it ideal for various pieces of furniture, such as bookcases, beds, dining tables or chairs. Metal comes in a variety of colors – for an industrial or minimalist interior choose black metal to combine with wood, while for a modern or elegant interior, you should choose bronze variants of metal.

If so far we have talked about furniture and finishes made from natural materials, it is time to focus on textiles made from natural materials. Instead of classic curtains, choose those made of linen, opt for cotton for the bed linens, and choose wool for the blankets and rugs.

Our Work – Bedroom Design: Six Ideas from Our Projects

The way you make your bed is the way you sleep – says a popular saying. Nothing could be more true! Starting from the bed and ending with the lighting, curtains or decorations, the story of the bedroom begins the moment you start designing the space. And because the atmosphere in a room influences your mood, everything must be in harmony, especially if the bedroom is not very spacious. We have prepared six ideas for arranging the bedroom from our projects, which we hope will be a source of inspiration for you.

Classic-Style Bedroom with Walk-In Closet

In this bedroom, we chose white as the dominant color, while the velvet-upholstered bed, mirror, bench at the foot of the bed, nightstand finishes, and chandeliers enhance the classic design. For the wall behind the bed, we chose a pink decorative paint that perfectly complements the entire decor. The bedroom also features a walk-in dressing room with wardrobes spanning the entire width and length of the walls. One side is fitted with wardrobes with white doors, while the other has sliding wardrobes concealed with mirrors.

Simply and Minimally Designed Bedroom

For this bedroom, we chose ribbed paneling for the wall behind the bed, creating a contrast with the adjacent walls on both sides. This adds a touch of refinement while maintaining a restful, welcoming, and airy atmosphere. The mirrors applied to the wooden ribbing provide depth to the space and visually enlarge it. The bed has a simple and contemporary shape, being upholstered for added comfort. On the floor, the carpet is asymmetrical in relation to the ribbing behind the bed, but symmetrical with the gray wall.

Small but Well-Organized Bedroom

Being a small apartment bedroom, we wanted to combine functionality with aesthetics, but also to take advantage of every square inch of the room by creating a bright atmosphere. The warm shades of green, the white shade of the furniture and the generous window contribute to creating an airy, restful and welcoming environment. The bed is embedded in the white furniture with green accents, with milled handles, which give the feeling of order.

Bedroom with Wood and Velvet Accents

For this bedroom we chose custom-made furniture, the color scheme in this room being based on white, gray and wooden textures. The customization was achieved through the use of decorative objects. The work area is furnished strictly necessary and can serve as both a desk and a dressing table. The bed is framed in white suspended bodies that continue with wooden suspended bedside tables. Through the shade of the bed upholstery, a new color, pale pink, was introduced into the environment, which perfectly complements the decor.

Bright and Modern Bedroom with Blue Accents

This bedroom’s design was intended to be bright, with an imposing bed with personality. We opted for a modern design, and the bed with royal blue upholstery brings a glam and elegant touch to the room. We opted for industrial accents, using a concrete-effect paint for the wall behind the bed, thus bringing visual harmony to the room. To preserve the spaciousness and brightness of the room, we opted for compact furniture, without overloading the space.

Classic-Style Bedroom with Elegant and Scandinavian Accents

The design of this bedroom was elaborated to continue the design line of the entire house – we notice here Scandinavian elements combined in the most natural way with elements specific to a classic interior. For the walls we chose a more special color – copper – to complement the decor. The gray bed and the make-up table are chosen in the same Nordic style. We chose to finish the design with a few more special elements – the bedside tables and the mirror – elements that bring an extra elegance to the room.
